Take part in Carmel’s New Business Ownership Initiative

Carmel Clay Public Library will be hosting an exciting business ownership education initiative in 2016.  The Entrepreneurship Carmel Workshop Series will be a monthly, free workshop series addressing business ownership issues from concept, to start-up, to scaling specific to the Carmel community.  Ideal for those considering business ownership to seasoned entrepreneurs looking to update their skills.

With a focus on the Carmel marketplace, the workshop identifies popular business concepts and the many changes in the communities’ purchasing preferences.  Highlights include: identifying current strategies of business ownership, evaluating new business fundamentals and profit models, exploring the teachings of Shark Tank and The Profit, and spotlighting resources available to start-up entrepreneurs in Indiana.

Entrepreneurship Carmel Workshop Series will identify trending businesses ideas, new business fundamentals and pertinent business concepts in our new economy.  Entrepreneurship Carmel is a monthly, free series of standalone workshops addressing business ownership issues from concept, to start-up, to scaling your business.

Special attention is given to pertinent Carmel demographic issues and regional business information, local success stories and reference materials available within the Library.

“The economy has impacted how we buy and sell in the U.S.’” says Mark A. Roger, of the FranNet MidAmerica’s Indiana offices. “Business ownership is more appealing than ever, but many don’t know where or how to start evaluating a business concept and if it’s the right fit for them and their family.  That’s what Entrepreneurship Carmel aims to do – educate individuals on their entrepreneurial journey.”

Entrepreneurship Carmel Workshops are scheduled from 6:00pm - 7:30pm on the second Tuesday of the month at the Carmel Clay Public Library. Interested individuals should pre-register for the event at www.frannetmidamerica.com/events.

The Entrepreneurship Carmel Workshop Series is led by Mark A. Roger, a business expert with FranNet MidAmerica.  Mark has worked with business start-ups in Indiana since ’93 and is a local business owner.  This series of high-energy workshops are presented with the support of the Indiana Small Business Development Corporation.
