New Home Options for Urban Residents with Park 10
There are new home options for urban residents as Park 10 offers open floorplans and prime location in downtown Indianapolis. There is a growing demand for home ownership in downtown Indianapolis, and Park 10 residences being built in the historic Chatham-Arch neighborhood will help meet that trend.
Milhaus is developing the 84 multi-family for-sale residences in five structures in the historic Chatham-Arch neighborhood. The homes at 10th and Broadway are within walking distance of the Monon Trail and many great restaurants, shopping, parks and schools near Mass Ave. There will be one, two and three bedroom floor plans, some with optional den areas, as well. The first residences will be available in the fall of 2015.
“We’re seeing a tremendous increase in interest in for-sale homes from a wide range of potential buyers from those in those in the suburbs to those in urban apartments. They want the ability to personalize their space and create a long-term home,” said Micah Hill, director of for-sale housing for Milhaus. “In a survey of our current apartment residents alone, 90% were interested in buying a home in the next 5 years, preferably in an urban setting.”
The development will include 28 town homes with attached two car parking garages as well as private entrances and outdoor spaces. Both two and three bedroom options are available in a vertical living, open floorplan design. The 56 flats are designed for living on one level with open floorplans and large balconies. There are common entrances and hallways. Heated and enclosed parking is available.
Both types of units offer hardwood floors in living rooms and kitchens, stone or quartz countertops, as well as energy efficient appliances and lighting. Bathrooms will also include tile floors and showers.
New homeowners can customize their spaces by choosing from a wide range of amenities and interior finishes. Small front yards highlight the townhome exteriors and common outdoor spaces surround the flats. Exterior maintenance is included in the association fees. All of the residences will include new home warranties. Park 10 is close to the Monon trail and the vibrant Mass Ave. District with shopping, dining and schools.
“We’re focused on designs that enhance the living experience,” added Hill. “For example, people spend a lot of in the kitchen and entertainment areas. Thanks to laptops, tablets and wireless printers, there’s no longer a heavy demand for dedicated office space. Children are doing their homework at the dining room table and people are using their devices from the comforts of their couches.”
The Park 10 development is still under construction but pre-sales are impressive for the first of two developments. The second development, 13th and Central, consisting of six boutique-style townhomes, has already sold out.
