Books & Brews

Books & Brews has open their newest location at Carmel City Center at 61 W. City Center Dr., along Wedgwood Way. Books & Brews currently has three additional locations, a brewpub in Indianapolis and taprooms in Zionsville and Brownsburg. It has built quite a following over the past four years. A community favorite, it has something for everyone. Built on the idea of a local gathering spot, it is a family-friendly place to work, play, read, or just grab a beer from the bar. The new taproom offers a full menu, including beer cheese dip made fresh daily from the beer of the day, a generous selection of sandwiches and grilled flatbreads, along with a full array of artisan grilled cheese sandwiches and several house and rotating guest craft beers on tap. They also offer trivia nights, bingo, acoustic open mic nights and live music.
Alex and Lori Stanley are the first Books & Brews franchisees, and they are eager to be a part of the Carmel community. “We picked Carmel City Center as our location because the space itself has a perfect layout for our business model and having a patio will be an awesome bonus that we didn't expect to have. On top of that, we like the fact that we are right in the heart of Carmel along the Monon Trail and near The Palladium, the Arts & Design District, The Cat and School of Rock,” said Alex.
Books & Brews will provide a local family-friendly haven in the heart of Carmel, with kids-eat-free days multiple times per week. Books & Brews plans to be open Monday through Thursday from 11:00 am to 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and Sunday 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
“We are really looking forward to having Books & Brews join us at Carmel City Center. I think they will appeal to a broad demographic of people and we are excited to draw some new customers with them as they grow. With Alex and Lori’s enthusiasm for this concept, I’m certain that Books & Brews will generate a devoted following and be a destination for many,” said Melissa Averitt, senior vice president at Pedcor Companies.
Books & Brews will be located along City Center Drive at 61 W. City Center Drive. Surface parking is available on plaza level (accessible from City Center Drive) and in the underground garage (accessible from Range Line Road as well as City Center Drive).
