Caitlin Rogers joins Museum of Miniature Houses

The Museum of Miniature Houses is proud to announce that Caitlin Rogers has joined the museum staff as its full-time Collections Manager. The Collections Manager position is in charge of record-keeping pertaining to the museum's holdings, acquisitions and acceptance of donations, in-house and off-site exhibits, and care of the museum's holdings.
            "Caitlin comes to us with a Master of Arts in Museum Studies and most recently from the Sitka Historical Society & Museum in Alaska as a Collections and Administration Fellow," explains Suzie Moffett, President of the Board and Co-Founder of the Museum of Miniature Houses.  Caitlin Rogers said," I am looking forward to jumping into this new role.  I strongly feel that my four years of experience in archaeology methods and practice, and two years of collections management experience have prepared me well."
            The Museum of Miniature Houses is a museum of fine art in miniature.The museum’s collection contains thousands of miniatures including room boxes, miniature houses, and exquisite individual items. Also included are collections that may be tiny or full size. The museum has been open to the public since 1993.
